So I have a good 14 images after sending them to a more global audience. I would have loved more but again...... people are useless. I posted a request on a public art page on Facebook and got a decent amount of curiosity from wannabe participants but only 1/3 actually replied and 1/2 of those actually did it. The other places I send a request was merely ignored so again I have deduced something that I have discovered time and time again with this assignment.... people are un reliable

Going for the book

Computer Generated Culture has become a major influence in all aspects of art and design. Photography is of course no exception to these changes. The introduction of Digital Cameras and Smart Phones has made the aspects of Photography easily obtainable for almost everyone as well as the creation of Editing Software such as Photoshop. With the aid of computers we have become adjusted to amazing images being easy to create out of thin air rather than actually going outside and looking for a breathtaking sight. The effort of capturing the surreal has become a waste of time as now anyone can just point any camera anywhere and use such editing software as Photoshop to create their ideal image of the world around them.

This Project was my way of gathering such information in order to explain and compare the views other people have of the world by allowing them to edit an image of a natural wonder in any way they saw fit. By doing so I hoped to express what the developments that computer generated culture has done to our values and expectations about the world around us and how easy it has become to change our reality into our own personal ideal view.

seccond chance for project 3

For the next assignment our KIND Lecturer has aloud us to continue on our previous assignment if we wish. I'll experiment with other ideas similar to this assignment but I would really like to continue to make this art book I originally envisioned

Status report

So far I have received 4 photos out of a good 20 I sent out...... conclusion...... people are rather unreliable
I've given a cut off date to match up with the due date of this assignment. All I can really do is hope I'll get more back before then so I can make something awesome

Before SUbmission

It's the day before submission and..... well..... I only got back eight in total. Again I must admit that people are useless. I'll work with what I've got but I would have loved to get at least 15 to make something cool but what can you do when relying on others? Just hope it's ok

Start to Project

I have sent a mass message to friends of mine on Facebook asking for their assistance in this project. By getting them to use any resources of photo editing they have I hope to get quite a few different images to fully express my main idea with this assignment. I chose an Image that is beautiful without ay editing done to it to fully challenge peoples imagination and give them a starting place point to be able to fully express their ideal image of the world
